🐑 Mount And Blade 2 Troop Tier List
Which leads me to believe that lore wise, kern is just a Battanian way of referring to enlisted men, like their tier 1 and 2 units. But in the case of the Kern unit tree, it might just be referencing the units in the tree as light infantry.
It seriously got me into bannerlord. I have the custom troops mod and I also made heavy T7 infantry. Sucks that that helmet you have on, has lower armor than the one that looks almost the same, but is visually worse. Little tip, if you want to make them OP, give them that one super expensive sword, that can't stab.
This perk correctly multiplies incoming simulation damage by 0.8 (-20%) if the hit troop is tier 3 or higher, and the party leader has the perk. It also correctly multiplies incoming non-simulation damage by 0.95 (-5%) for troops in the hero's formation.
Master Archers are really good too since they can slug with other archers not named Fian's and survive due to their better armor. Great for Sieges too since you're bound to take some hits from archer militia and you shrug those right off. Very low casualty rate even in aggressive Archer fights.

Khuzait Torguud are fourth-tier troops of the Khuzait's noble line. These troops are highly versatile mid-tier troops, however if they get bogged down in infantry lines, they can easily be cut down, so be wary when deploying them. Equipment Khuzait Torguuds can spawn with in battle. Heavy Recurve Bow Steppe Arrows (1 quiver of 24 arrows) Glaive Plumed Nomad Helmet Leather Lamellar Shoulders
Minimal bonus perks (For example, Sharpened Edge: +2% damage to slashing damage on weapons you craft or Cavalry: +2% damage with Polearms while mounted, you won't even notice this, seriously, make these things actually meaningful) Daily XP perks (From +1 to +4 XP per day, some are only limited to certain troop tiers.
Complete Troop Overhaul brings a complete rebalacing, rearming and restyling of troops. Logic, linear progression is the very core of the mod. Item fixes and new items added. Dozens of new units distributed in standard troop trees and new trees.provide you new ways to compose your army, and new threats on the battlefield.
This was tested on e1.3.1 (main branch) with the unit stat fixes mod (found here ). So the test consisted of battling Lucon's army of 490 (see army composition at the bottom of post), by reloading the same save from close proximity but using different troops with the help of the dev console to spawn 100 T7 troops of my choice.
Speaking of the Legionary, they're comparable to the Sergeant. Heavy armor, bastard sword, 1-handed spear with lots of reach. Light archers I guess are mostly comparable to what other factions have barring the Sturgian Hunter and Vlandian Ranger, whom i'll get to later.
I agree with you, remove one and give us some common archers. In a new mini-series, we take a look at each culture's troop choices, breaking them down by tier and ranking them best to worst using a "Top, Middle, and Bottom" Tier ranking system. Our first culture guide is the Aserai for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord.
I think they should keep them powerful, but make it exponentially more costly somehow to train/sustain. With how many kills fians get in a typical battle, it feels like all it takes is 3-4 battles against peasants and bandits to get them to top tier. It's odd that top tier cavalry require a resource (war horses), but the top tier archer doesn't.
